Colours in Nature - Andrew Matthews

23 February to 3 April

Andrew trained at Hereford College of Arts studying Graphic Design, before continuing his studies at Birmingham City University. Although he has a strong design background, Andrew has always been passionate about traditional Fine Art. During his spare time, Andrew likes to hone his artistic skills, drawing and painting pictures that concentrate on figurative and wildlife subject matters. He is specifically interested in the use of colour within nature. He finds the strong vibrant colours found within living things to be extremely fascinating. For many years, Andrew has taken great pleasure in capturing such colours in his artwork, through careful observation of the natural world. He hopes that you take just as much pleasure viewing the artwork and looking at the beautiful colours found within wildlife.
