Walks at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre
Shropshire is a county criss-crossed by footpaths. The Shropshire Way, the county’s flagship way-marked route, comes right past our door, and one of the circular routes is from the Centre to Sallow Coppice, a beautiful bluebell woodland.
The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre also has six way-marked circular walks specially created for our visitors to allow you to explore some of the countryside immediately around the Centre.
The walks vary in length and difficulty so there is something for everyone. Please note that all of the walks were re-routed in 2017. You can purchase them from the Discovery Centre for £1 each or a pack of all 6 for £5. Not only do these help you to navigate, they also point out some of the interesting features you can spot along the way.
There are frequent guided walks that start from the Discovery Centre for more information visit our events page.
