Visitor Experience Manager (part time – 30 hours a week)
Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Craven Arms
Salary Actual £14,133.60 (£9.06 an hour)
Includes weekend working

The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is a vibrant award-winning visitor attraction with an exhibition area, café, gift shop, conference rooms and 30 acres of meadows. We are looking for a hands-on Visitor Experience Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of the retail and exhibition offer. This will include the effective and efficient leadership of staff and volunteers, managing rotas and ensuring appropriate staff cover.

You will be at the forefront of developing our visitor experience, inspiring your team to exceed visitors’ expectations by ensuring the consistent quality of our customer offer.

The Centre is open 7 days a week; the role will involve weekend and bank holiday working, and at times deputising for the Manager.
