Shropshire Lamb Supper Shropshire Lamb supper. At the Discovery Centre, we are champions of local food and believe that eating quality food in season really helps support the local economy and landscape. We know that the lamb produced in the Shropshire Hills is amongst the finest in the world. We also know that nobody is shouting about it, so we thought it was about time someone did. The lamb we will be serving is reared within the Shropshire Hills AONB. Sheep farming here helps support the whole rural economy whilst preserving the beautiful upland areas so loved by walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers. We think that deserves to be celebrated! Our charitable mission is to connect people to the food, history and landscape of the Shropshire Hills, so if you enjoy eating local, seasonal food and supporting the Discovery Centre at the same time, why not the date in your diary and reserve a table the first Discovery Centre lamb supper.
