Beverley Wightman – Seascapes and Landscapes of the Orkney Isles
During a visit to the Orkney Isles, Beverley became enchanted with its rugged beauty, and a series of paintings inspired by the views from the islands was the result.  Since returning home to Bridgnorth in Shropshire, she has continued her quest, creating many seascapes and landscapes, including coastal cliffs, tumultuous seas, traditional village life and Orkney wildlife – specifically puffins which nest on the island of Westray in late Spring.  Beverley has a love of colour, which she uses to create vibrant oil paintings with depth and drama.

Sue Greenaway
In her younger days Sue would enjoy weekends exploring the countryside, walking for miles in forests and alongside rivers and streams accompanied by her observer and I spy books. Sue would always be on the lookout for creatures large and small, flora and fauna. Now that she’s older and less able bodied she’s taken up watercolours and enjoys painting wildlife as a hobby.  In this exhibition Sue has used a loose wet in wet style.
