Another great Bonfire and Fireworks event!

The wet weather couldn't dampen the excitement.

 

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Bonfire and Fireworks Night. Despite the wind and rain, over a thousand of you came out to enjoy the festivities last weekend. We had some welcome dry spells, too, but a bit of wet weather wasn’t going to dampen the spirits.

We think this year’s bonfire was our best yet, and a massive thank you goes to SAS for their generous donation of wood and for building it so brilliantly once again. We’re also very grateful to Morris Corfield and Newington Garage for their kind donations of wood. Your support helped make the bonfire such a fantastic centrepiece for the evening.

A special thank you goes to our wonderful sponsors, Euro Quality Foundation and Craven Arms Town Council, whose support helps us put on this much-loved community event.

Of course, an event like this takes a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and we are so lucky to have such an incredible team of volunteers. From setting up and building the bonfire to taking care of all the many jobs on the night, you give your time so generously. We really couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you, too, to all our stallholders and ride operators for bringing so much fun to the evening, and to Zara, who kept us all dancing! We’re hugely grateful that you stuck with us, supported our decision to go ahead despite the weather and helped make the night so enjoyable.

And what a finale! A heartfelt thank you to Peter and Sally at Titanium Fireworks for their continued support, reassurance and reliability, and for delivering another absolutely amazing fireworks display. You never disappoint!

Finally, and most importantly, thank you to every single person who came along to support us. Whether you travelled from nearby or further afield, your support means the world to us. It’s lovely to know that this event means so much to you, too, and seeing our community come together, rain or shine, is what makes it all worthwhile.

Thank you for being part of it, for supporting our event year after year, and for helping us create such wonderful memories. We hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next time!
