The first snow of 2026

Storm Goretti brought a lot of snow to our area at the weekend.

Whilst most of Shropshire and the Midlands came to a stand still on Friday, we were pleased to be able to stay open for anyone that was venturing out to enjoy the snow in the Onny Meadows or surrounding area. 

Over 7cm of snow fell in parts of the county and most schools were closed as a result. 

We are committed to keeping the Centre open when possible so that we can be there for the customers that need us, whether that be to warm up, see a friendly face or anything else.
