Our membership scheme offers many benefits for our customers and donations assist us in meeting our charitable aims.
You will get:
• 10% of our adult course fees
• Free admission to our Shropshire Hills Through Time Exhibition – unlimited throughout the year of your membership
• 10% off shop purchases (excluding gallery and commission items)
• 10% discount when you hire one of our rooms for your meeting or event
• A regular e-newsletter with news and upcoming events
• An exclusive annual Member’s event with a speaker and catering where you can meet our Trustees and Centre Manager
• A supporter welcome pack which includes a Membership card for your wallet or purse
Your annual subscription donation will help us to:
• Host educational school trips. Over 6,000 primary school children a year visit us to learn about the Shropshire Hills. Including nature, history and food, all sessions integrating their learning in to the national curriculum.
• Run cookery courses for vulnerable adults. Buying and preparing healthy food is particularly hard for some groups.
• Maintain and improve our 30 acres of free-to-use Onny Meadows. Many dog walkers, local and visiting families and Walking for Health groups enjoy them all year round.
• Continue to improve our exhibition as an exciting learning experience about the food, history and landscape of the Shropshire Hills.
This work brings in little or no income and we get no government funding so everything we do is paid for by the takings from our café, shop, exhibition and kind donations.
By becoming a member, you will help us to make a real difference in the local community and in the Shropshire Hills Tourism sector.
Individual membership £23 –Your card entitles you to all member benefits.
Household membership £28– You card entitles you, one accompanying adult and up to three children (under 18) to all member benefits.
