Below is our What’s On Event Calendar at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. We have an events programme jam packed with fun for all the family. With cookery courses, family activities and community events, we have an activity for every occasion, all year round.

  • Courses

We have a range of courses for adults including our popular cookery courses in our Ludlow Food Festival pop up kitchen. Our courses run regularly so keep an eye on our website for updates. Or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know what’s going on.

  • Children’s Activities

We have activities for the children every weekday of the school holidays. We also have children’s activities that run alongside our major events.

  • Major Events

Our events programme also includes major events that assist us in fundraising as well as providing a much needed service for the community.

Our major events include the Shropshire Way 80K Festival, the Craven Arms Community Bonfire and Firework Display and more!

  • Live Performances and Cinema Room

Our impressive rotunda Cinema Room is home to our panoramic film over the Shropshire Hills. We also show Flicks in the Sticks films and it is available for private hire for functions, groups and Private Movie Screenings.
