Why not make memories to last a lifetime by taking part in one of our amazing challenges? This event sees hundreds of runners and walkers coming to the Shropshire Hills to take part in our event which showcases the wonderful food, history and landscape of this fascinating area.
The festival is a fundraiser for Grow Cook Learn, the charity which operates the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, and all money raised will be used to support the charity’s goals. This year, the money will be used to support the delivery of our education programme, teaching children from inner-city areas about how their food is grown.

Mammothon
42 km 12hour time limit. A full-distance trail marathon with over 1000m of elevation, this is a classic route for hard-core trail runners or experienced long-distance walkers. We promise incredible scenery and proper local food and drink and a great Shropshire welcome at our checkpoints.
Half Mammothon
21km, 6 hours time limit. An off-road half marathon with 650m of elevation, this challenge should not be taken lightly. With a generous time-limit though, it should be suitable for all experienced runners and walkers.
10km, 4 hours time limit
An off road 10k run or walk with a generous 4-hour time-limit, the event is aimed at everyone from improving trail runners through to walkers looking for a hilly challenge.
